On solving, a =10cm
Since the height of the triangle, divides it into two right-angled triangles,
a^2=h^2+(b/2)2
10^2=h^2+8^2
h2=100-64=36
h=√36 = 6cm
Area of triangle=1/2xbasexheight
1/2x16x6 = 48 sq cm
