here's ur answer...

if we want to find the perimeter of the cube we have to multiply 12 by the length of the side of the cube, as a cube have 12 edges.

let me give u an example...

volume of the cube be 27cm³

therefore side³ = 27cm³

=> side = ³√27

=> side = 3cm

VERIFICATION:-

volume of cube = side³

= 3×3×3

= 9×3

= 27cm³

hence verified

thus the side of the cube is 3cm.

now,

perimeter of cube = 12 ×side

= 12×3

= 36cm

hence the perimeter of the cube is 36cm.
