  • Given : Perimeter is 20m and length is 2m greater than Breadth

  • To Find : We have to find Breadth

S O L U T I O N :

  • Let Breadth of Rectangle be x and Length = x + 2

\dag\large\underline\mathfrak\purple{\:\:As\:We\:Know\:That\::}

   \bigstar\pink{\mid{\fbox{\tt{Rectangle\:=\:2(L+B}}\mid}}

Therefore,

     \large\sf:\implies{2(x+x+2)=20}

     \large\sf:\implies{2x+2x+4=20}

     \large\sf:\implies{4x+4=20}

     \large\sf:\implies{4x=16}

     \star\:\large\sf:\implies\underline\color{cyan}{x=4}

  • Breadth is 4m.

To find length :

     \large\sf:\implies{4+2}

     \bigstar\:\:\large{\underline{\boxed{\mathsf\orange{\:=\:6}}}}

  • Length is 6m

 \large\underline\mathfrak\blue{∴Breadth\:is\:4m\:and\:Length\:is\:6m}
