Answer:

we put breadth is equal to x then

length is equal to 2+x

breadth is equal to x

so perimeter is equal to 2(2+x+x)=24

4+4x = 24

4x= 20

x= 5m

so it's breadth is equal to 5m

Answer:

Length = 7 meters

Breadth = 5 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x.

•°• => Length = (x + 2)

Perimeter of the rectangle

= 2(Length + breadth)

= 2[ (x + 2) + x]

= 2[ x + 2 + x]

= 2[ 2x + 2]

= 4x + 4

Given,

The perimeter is 24 meters

•°• => 24 = 4x + 4

=> 20 = 4x

=> 5 = x

Thus the Breadth = x = 5 meters

Length = x + 2 = 7 meters
