Given :

  • Perimeter of Rectangle is 80 cm .
  • Length of Rectangle is 1 cm more than 2 times of the breadth .

To Find :

  • Length of Rectangle .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Let\:Breadth\:of\:rectangle\:be=x}

As Given that length of Rectangle is 1 cm more than 2 times of the breadth . So ,

\longmapsto\tt{Length=2x+1}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{80=2(2x+1+x)}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{80}{2}=3x+1}

\longmapsto\tt{40=3x+1}

\longmapsto\tt{40-1=3x}

\longmapsto\tt{39=3x}

\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{39}{3}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{x=13}

Value of x is 13 ..

Therefore :

\longmapsto\tt{Length\:of\:Rectangle=2(13)+1}

\longmapsto\tt{26+1}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{27\:cm}

Given :-

  • Perimeter of rectangle is 80 cm the length of rectangle is 1 cm more than two times of the breadth what is the length.

To find :-

  • Length of rectangle

Solution :-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 80 cm

Let the breadth be x

  • The length of rectangle is 1 cm more than two times of the breadth

  • Length = 2x + 1

According to question

→ Perimeter of rectangle = 80cm

→ 2(l + b) = 80cm

→ 2(2x + 1 + x) = 80

→ (3x + 1) = 80/2

→ 3x + 1 = 40

→ 3x = 40 - 1

→ 3x = 39

→ x = 39/3

→ x = 13 cm

Hence,

  • The value of x is 13cm

Therefore,

  • Breadth of rectangle = x = 13cm

  • Length of rectangle = 2x + 1 = 2×13 + 1 = 27 cm
