we know that:
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
where l and b are length and breadth respectively .

and
perimeter of square = 4a

where a is side of square .

here,
perimeter of rectangle having
length = 35cm and breadth = 24cm
=> 2(35+24) = 2×59 = 118 cm


According to question:
perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

=> 4a = 118

=>a = 118/4 = 27 cm Answer
