Solution

Given,

  • the length of the rectangle is 40 cm .
  • the breadth of the rectangle is 30 cm .

To find ,

  • we have to find here the perimeter of the rectangle .

We know that to find the perimeter of a rectangle we have to use the formula ;

=> 2(length + breadth ).

now putting the value in the formula we get ;

 =  > 2(40 + 30) \\  =  > 2 \times 70 \\  =  > 140cm

The perimeter of the rectangle is 140 CM .
