Answer:600cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:Given, Perimeter = 100cm

Diagonal = 40cm

Area = ?

Let , Perimeter be "P"

Diagonal be "p"

We know that,

Area of rhombus= 1÷4(p) √(P^2-4p^2)

= 1÷4 (40) √[(100)^2 - 4 (40)^2]

= 10 √ [ 10000 - 4 ( 1600)]

= 10 √ ( 10000 - 6400)

= 10 √ 3600

= 10(60)

= 600

Therefore, Area of rhombus = 600 cm^2
