Hi there !!

Perimeter = 40cm

We know,
Perimeter of Rhombus = 4 × side
40 = 4 × side
Side = 40/4 cm
Side = 10cm

Height = 5cm

Since a Rhombus is a special case of a parellalogram,

Area of Rhombus in this case = base × height

Area = 10cm × 5 cm

Area = 50cm²

Thus,
The area of Rhombus is 50cm²
