The formula for the perimeter of the sector of a circle is given below :

Perimeter of sector = radius + radius + arc length

Perimeter of sector = 2 radius + arc length

Arc length is calculated using the relation :

Arc length = radius ×× central angle

Therefore

Perimeter of sector = 2 Radius + (radius ×× central angle)

In the form of symbols, this formula is represented more conveniently as under :

P = 2 r + r θθ

Answer:

formula =(central angle/180°) x πr + 2r

Step-by-step explanation:

length of arc=(central angle/360°)x 2πr

=(central angle/180°) xπr

perimeter of sector=length of arc+2r

=(central angle/180°) x πr + 2r
