Formula is P = 1/2 (π × d) + d, where d is the diameter of the semicircle.

ahalya13: r u tamil

Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

As we know that the perimeter of a circle is 2πr.

So, it's half would be πr but here comes a twist !

A line is also obtained when a circle is cut into two which is the diameter and we have to add it if we want to find the perimeter.

So, the actual perimeter of a semi - circle would be:-

=πr + d

We can re - write it as :-

= π x \frac{d}{2} + d

= \frac{πd}{2} + d

Or simply \frac{1}{2} x π x d + d
