Perimeter of square s = 4s

40 =4s

s = 10   where s is the length of square s

Now Area of square s = s²

                                     =10²

                                    = 100

So,the maximum possible area of square t which can be inscribed in square s will be 100 and the least possible area will be 1 assuming the area to be in natural number we take the least natural number as the length of the square t .

t=1

Area of square t = l² = 1
