Answer : 150 cm or 1.5 m

Given that : In following figure the length = 2.5m and Perimeter of following rectangle = 800cm

First convert m into cm :

As we know that : 1 m = 100 cm

=> 2.5 m = 2.5×100 = 250 cm

Now, according to the question :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 2(250+x) = 800

=> x = 400–250

=> x = 150 cm

So, the value of x will be 150 cm or 1.5 m

Heya...

Here's your answer...

length = 2.5 m

l = 2.5×100 = 250 cm

perimeter = 800 cm

let breadth be x

therefore,

2(l+b) = perimeter of rectangle

=> 2(250 + b) = 800

=> 500 + 2b = 800

=> 2b = 800 - 500

=> b = 300/2

=> b = 150 cm

breadth (x) = 150 cm or 1.5 m

Thanks...!!!

XD
