According to the question:-Perimeter = 320

=) 2(length + breadth) = 320

=) 2(3x + 5x) = 320

=) 16x = 320

=) x = 20

Hence, the length of rectangle = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60 cm

and breadth = 5x = 5 × 20 = 100 cm.
Now, Area of rectangle=l×b
=) 60×100= 6000cm2

2 ( l+b ) = 320
2 (5x + 3x) = 320
16x = 320
x = 20
thus the side is 20×5=100
20×3=60
now the area of rec. = l×b
