length=14cm

perimeter=44cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

so b=8cm

area=l×b

=14×8

Answer:

112cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Since perimeters of rectangle and square are equal and perimeter of rectangle is 2(L+B) , we get

2(14+B)=44

14+B=22

B=8

2) Area of rectangle is L×B

14×8

=112cm^2.
