It was discovered on 1921(20 century) at modern city Harappa in th province of west Punjab in Pakistan.the archaeologists found the site and alleged that he this was one of the oldest cities in the sum continent as this was the first city to be discovered all other sites from where similar building and other things where found where described as happened the city's developer what 4700 year ago,they founded red pottery painted with the design in black, stone weights, seals, special beads, copper tools, and paralleled sided long stone blades.generally, the part to the west was larger but lower this is a called the lower town. very often wall of baked brick were built around each part. the bricks were so well baked that they have lasted for thousands of years. the bricks were laid in an interlocking pattern and that made the was strong in the some cities special building where constructed on the citadel for example in mohenjoDaro, a very special tank,call the great bath. water was probably brought in form a well and drained out after use . generally, houses where either one or two storeys high with rooms built around a courtyard.
