✨HERE your answer ✨

My island scenario is going to be a survival scene instead of a leisurely vacation. The three things I'll need if I am going to survive alone on an isolated island, would be some paracord, a cooking vessel to boil water in and a good quality knife.
Paracord is a very strong nylon rope originally designed for the use in parachuting (hence the name.)
It is versatile in survival situations as it can be opened up at the ends and its inner core unbraided and each individual thin line utilized for many purposes. These uses may include (but are not limited to) fishing lines and netting, bow drills to create fire, or even twine to bind a shelter together.
If you would be isolated on an island and given the chance to bring 3 things, what would they be?

My island scenario is going to be a survival scene instead of a leisurely vacation. The three things I'll need if I am going to survive alone on an isolated island, would be some paracord, a cooking vessel to boil water in and a good quality knife.

PARACORD-

Paracord is a very strong nylon rope originally designed for the use in parachuting (hence the name.)
It is versatile in survival situations as it can be opened up at the ends and its inner core unbraided and each individual thin line utilized for many purposes. These uses may include (but are not limited to) fishing lines and netting, bow drills to create fire, or even twine to bind a shelter together.

It can be used to create splints in case of injuries, or snares to hunt game. You can use the various inner core lengths to tie logs together as needed to create a raft or even quadruple the cording to create a Swiss Seat rappel harness and secure yourself in for safety to scale trees and collect coconuts, if need be. You may also choose to work on your archery skills and build yourself a bow to shoot arrows and hunt up some dinner. You may even weave yourself a comfortable hammock to rest upon. You've got time on your hands, might as well keep busy.
I will be bringing at least a 200 ft. length of paracord to the island as it is useful for a myriad of purposes and I will always want to have plenty on hand. Better safe than sorry.

COOKING VESSEL-

Water is definitely the first thing I will need in order to survive an island environment. I would choose a cooking vessel such as a storm or volcano kettle (Kelly Kettle, Ghillie Kettle) in order to boil and purify my water. I don't do well in the heat and in my imagined scenario I've just been dropped somewhere in the Tropics. I do not care for the Tropics. I've actually been there a few times. I've learned it is not an ideal place for an ultra-white girl like me. The sun is going to scorch me and I'm going to need to stay hydrated in order to stay alive.
First priority- I need to find the water source before I dehydrate! Once I locate a fresh water source and collect it in my kettle, I will need to build a fire and boil that water as quickly as possible. A storm kettle needs very little fire to boil water and gets a boil on in a very short time. Water boils within five or six minutes due to the "volcano chimney" or hollow cavity inside the stainless steel cavity. The most effort will be expended creating the fire itself. Making fire is not easy! I have tried. It may take hours (if I'm lucky.) I will be very thirsty by the time the water is cool enough to drink. I will spend a great deal of time collecting enough fire wood to keep my initial fire going all day while I gather food for sustenance in order that I need not restart the initial fire with my bow drill and expend that energy again. Collecting firewood, boiling and cooling water and scavenging and fishing will take up most of my time during my little island "vacation."

hope it helps u ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
