Answer:

Ans is pent-1-ene

Explanation: peroxide effect:

It can be ovserved in unsymmetrical alkene..followed by anti-markovnikov's rule. Which states that the negative part will add to the carbon atom of alkene bearing more no of H atoms.

CH3-CH2-CH2-CH=CH2 + HBr -> CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-Br

Hey mate here is your answer:-

Kharash Effect or also also popularly named as anti markownikoff's rule is the effect when alkenes react with alkyl halides asymmetrically in the presence of peroxides( mostly of benzenes). It happens only with the addition of HBr. The reaction proceeds via free radical mechanism.

Peroxide or kharash effect : In the presence of peroxide and light, addition of HBr to unsymmetrical alkenes occur contrary to Markovnikov's rule. But HCl and HI do not show peroxide effect. ... With HBr, both the propagation steps are exothermic and HBr adds to the double bond by free- radical mechanism.

Kharasch effect is also known as Anti-Markonicoff's rule. It is a free radical addition reaction. It states that “ In presence of peroxides when an alkene reacts with HBr the negative part of HBr(Br-) gets attached to carbon having more number of Alpha hydrogens”
