Answer: Let ABCD be the //gm.

given,

AE =7cm and BF= 8cm

We know that Area of a //gm = Altitude Or height × the side on which the height is.

Therefore,

Area of //gm ABCD = AE × BC

=7×10

=70 (1)

Again Area if //gm ABCD taking BF as height = BF× CD

=8× CD (2)

from 1 and 2 we get,

70=8×CD

CD=70÷8

CD =8.7 cm

ANSWER is (C)
