Given

in a circle c(o,r)

AB is a chord.

To prove :- AD = AB

PROVE:-

AO = OB (RADIUS)

angle ADO = angle OBD (each 90°)

OD =OD (common side)

hence,

∆AOF ~ BOD (SAS)

AD = BD

PROVED.
