In 1953, Hooper was a favoured young man because he was already a hard-charging zone sales manager for a chemical company with a big genuine grin on his face and a highly competitive nature from having played university football. One night in autumn when Hooper was driving home, a car pulled out in front of him without warning. Hooper was taken to a hospital with a subdural haemorrhage in the motor section of the brain, completely paralysing his left side. He couldn't talk, he could only breathe and see and his vision was double. He remained critical for a month and after the fifth week, men from his company advised him to take a year off. He was in a wheelchair six weeks after the accident and not making much of a headway in terms of progress. Initially, Hooper had been unable to bounce back to his usual genial self after his debilitating accident which left him paralysed. However, with Duke's constant support and enthusiastic help, Hooper managed to bring himself back to life, regaining the willpower to get better. Hooper was aware of the fact that had Duke not had faith in him then he might have given up on himself. He lost his genial smile and felt depressed with his situation such that he could not find the willpower to get better.Although the story charts the recovery of Chuck from a debilitating accident, Duke becomes the real hero of the story because it is Duke who helps Chuck renew his faith in himself and give himself another shot at life. Duke understood his master's difficulty right away and never left him alone. He was always there to support his master and comfort him. Duke could not bear Chuck's misery and started prodding him to make him get up from the wheel chair and literally pushed him to walk. It was with Duke's help that Chuck could manage to reclaim his life.

Answer:

New York state wildlife expert Richard Thomas found that a woodchuck could (and does) chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equivalent to the weight of the dirt, or 700 pounds.
