if you don’t learn from your mistake the first time, persistence will eventually make you learn to stop doing the same thing and expecting different results. People usually learn quite fast that a hot stove is not to be touched; however, not understanding that pleasure is only the other side of pain and that happiness does not reside in people, places or things is a folly in which some folk persist a lifetime without being able to figure out why they suffer.
