GIVEN :

  • A person 'A' can complete a task in 7.5 minutes.

  • Whereas the another person 'B' complete a task in 17:5 minutes.

TO FIND :

  • The ratio of time taken by the person 'A' and person 'B' = ? (Simplest whole number form).

STEP - BY - STEP EXPLANATION :

 =  &gt; ratio =  \frac{time \: taken \: by \: the \: person <strong>\: A \:</strong> to \: complete \: the \: task \: }{the \: time \: taken \: by \: person \: <strong>B \:</strong> to \: complete \: the \: same \: task}

 =  &gt; ratio =  \frac{7.5}{17.5}  = 0.428
