Hii Dear,

◆ Answer -

53.13° west of south

● Explanation -

# Given -

vA = 3 km/h west

vB = 4 km/h north

# Solution -

We know that both A and B are moving in mutually perpendicular directions.

Angle of relative velocity of A w.r.t B is calculated as -

tanθ = vB / vA

tanθ = 4 / 3

tanθ = 1.33

Taking tan inverse,

θ = arctan(1.33)

θ = 53.13° west of south

Therefore, velocity of A w.r.t B is at angle of 53.13° west of south.

* Note - This can be also expressed as 90°-53.13° = 36.87° south of west.

Thanks dear...
