let work of person B be x,

let work of person A be x+20÷100

then, 110 = x+ ( x + 20÷100)

110= 2x+1/5

110= (10x+1)/5 taking lcm

110×5=10x+1

550=10x+1

550/10=x+1

55-1=x

x=54

The work done by B is 50 units.

Given,

A works 20% more than B.

Total work = 110.

To Find,

Work of B.

Solution,

In the question, it means that A is 20% more efficient than B.

So,

We will use the formula:

Total time=\frac{Total work}{Efficiency}

Let the efficiency of B be 100.

Then,

The efficiency of A = 100 +20% of 100 = 120.

The ratio of work done by A and B = 120:100 = 6:5.

total work done is 110 units.

So,

work done by B = \frac{5}{11} × 110.

= 50 units.

The work done by B is 50 units.
