He had 100units as his property

So his son got =40units

Remaining =100-40=60units

Now his daughter took 60% of remaining

60% of 60

=60x60/100 =36

Remaining =60-36

=24 units

So his wife got =24units

It is given in question Son got 1000 more than his daughter but acc to our assumption it is

=40-36

=4units

1 unit assumed =1000/4 =250

Now if we multiple all ans with 250 we will get the original ans

To find how much did his wife get=24x250

=6000
