Although life is itself an adventure but in this life there was one big adventure happened that i will never forgot.
This was happened when i was completed my one month summer training from CDAC mohali, punjab and returning to my home city Agra. Although there were so many trains from chandigarh to agra but they were not suitable to us(me and my friend). So, we reserved the train from ambala to agra. We reserved in 3-tier AC (that was my first experience for travelling in AC coach).
Before one day of departure, We were very happy because after a long time of 1 month, i was going to my home.(It was very long time because before training i never stay anywhere without my family). Everything was ready before a day and felt really excited to go to home. We had the train from ambala city at 3:40 P.M. so, we were decided to leave chandigarh before 12:30 P.M. so that we will reach on time. But before leaving chandigarh we also had to go to CDAC for clearance and all. We went CDAC in the morning and first submit the project and then did all the formalities for clearance. We spent so much time in CDAC due to the slowness of their staff. And we leave CDAC at 12:00 P.M. after this we went to our PGs and book a cab for bus stand sector17. Chandigarh is a wonderful and hi-tech city but on that day that cab driver made a bad impression of the city's cab system. When we booked the cab it was at a distance of 2 min.(it must be in meter or km but cab services shows cab at a distance of dash min. And all so i also use it) but cab reached after 20 min. We were going to be late. After this, cab driver said “sir, you can take ambala's bus from sector43 bus stand which is near to us.” So, we agreed and cab driver dropped us at sector43 bus stand. And there we found that there were not even a single bus for ambala. It was very worried situation for us. We went to enquiry counter, the officers said “go to sector17 bus stand, there are n-number of buses for ambala” so we moved to sector17 bus stand at 1:25 P.M. by local AC bus. Sector17 is so far from sector43 it takes only 10–15 min. to move but on that day, don't know why there were a huge traffic in the city so we reached sector17 at 1:55 P.M.. We found the bus for Ambala and sitted on it. It took 10 min. to fill the move towards Ambala city at 2:05 P.M.. We were quite relaxed but start estimating the time to reach at station. Usually bus takes 1 hr. And 35 min. So we estimated that we will reach at 3:40 P.M. if the driver maintain the speed. But, again don't know why may be chandigarh don't want that we went to our homes. There were a huge traffic on the highway, so the bus moves very slow and our heart beats started very fast. Because if we didn't reach on time we miss the train and have to wait for next morning for next train. We were so worried and you will find such people everywhere who works like a petrol in the fire. Yes, there were a lady sitted just left to me she asked us like where we are going ? and from where we are coming? , in short she knew about us about the train also. And she started putting petrol in fire. She said “No, we will not reach at time due to traffic and start look for next train”(start laughing slowly). We were already so worried and she made us depressed. But we didn't loose the hope. And time to time look about the train current status and it show 2 min. late after looking the bus speed we were sure that we couldn't reach at 3:42 P.M. after sometime train lated 20 min. But still we couldn't reach at 4:00 P.M. after that so change happened in the delay time it was stuck at 20 min. but we didn't reach at 4:00 P.M. we were very far away at 4:00 P.M. at the same time my father called me and said “your train has gone, now wait for the next train in waiting room”. After this i loose all my hope. And after 10 min. We reached at station at 4:10 P.M., although i loose all my hope but i heared the train horn so i run like a Bolt and see that train was there on platform number 2 so had to cross the bridge with heavy laguage. I said to my friend “ i am running to caught tge train please run fast, if train will start moving then i will pull the chain”. I started running to for AC coach but i found sleeper coach first i thought that AC coaches are after the sleepers so i crossed all S-Coaches and show train ended that means i had to run opposite side. My friend followed me and i said “run opposite side” she was just shocked because we had covered S2 to S13 (12 S-Coaches + Pentry) and now we had to run opposite to cover the same and cover S1, B1, B2 and B3 (total 17 Coaches) .
We started running and reached at S11 only and train start moving so we decided to go into S11. As you are all know about the S-Coaches' condition. They were filled like general Coach. We took 2 station one by one to reach on our place.
