Visiting a bird sanctuary with family
On one fine Summer morning, my family decided to visit the bird sanctuary in our city. This was an impromptu plan due to the tantrum of my sister who wanted to see "the wonderful, colourful birds" according to her encyclopedia.
The sanctuary was around 6 km from our house so both my sister and I slept through the journey. When we finally reached the location, my sister became very excited. We bought our tickets and entered the sanctuary. The pamphlet given from the reception mentioned that the sanctuary had around 500 species of birds living there. From parrots to peacocks, to woodpeckers and many other varieties of birds whose name I did not even hear before.
It was really a great experience for all of us since this trip was a very informative one for all of us in the family.
