Answer:

Explanation: COVID-19 can kill, but due to the way we are all socially distancing, makes me believe that it will soon disappear (hopefully). It is a dangerous disease and many people don't know where it came from, how it came to be, or what it is capable of. I believe that although it is capable of cause life threatening symptoms, we can get through this and we will.

Sorry its not 200 words

Answer:

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Essential information on the COVID-19 pandemic can be found in a dedicated WHO site.

Several of the early cases had visited Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market and so the virus is thought to have a zoonotic origin. The virus that caused the outbreak is known as SARS‐CoV‐2, a newly discovered virus closely related to bat coronaviruses, pangolin coronaviruses, and SARS-CoV.

The scientific consensus is that COVID-19 has a natural origin. The probable bat-to-human infection may have been among people processing bat carcasses and guano in the production of traditional Chinese medicines.

Although for most people COVID-19 causes only mild illness, it can make some people very ill. More rarely, the disease can be fatal. Older people, and those with pre- existing medical conditions (such as high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes) appear to be more vulnerable.

To date, there have not been any reports of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 virus through food.
