sooo the picture I've attached is of Tomoe, he is a fox yokai, and the strongest one at that. He has the characteristics of humanity as you can see..he has emotions. the one he is displaying in the photo is irritation. Tomoe does all the work around the shrine he lives in while also serving his human master, Nanami. Tomoe can talk, obviously (and what a voice he has♡). As the show goes on, he fell in love with Nanami. I think that should be it, that's what really makes a person human.
