CROP ROTATION, PRUNING and WEEDING are all methods of CROP MANAGEMENT.
- CROP ROTATION- It refers to a practice in which various types of crops are grown sequentially on the same piece of land. It aims to increase the fertility of soil, also it increases the pest resistant capacity of the soil. It helps in preventing soil erosion and also restores nutrient value of the soil.
- PRUNING- It refers to the process in which unwanted parts of plants are cut off from the main body. The parts which no more contribute in growth or production or are not beautiful to look at or are injurious to health are removed. The main purpose of pruning is to check growth of the plant part
