Peter and Mary are astronauts in different spacecrafts but in the same circular orbit. Peter wants to throw a ham sandwich to Mary. The question is: how to do that? Direction , speed ? how much Time will it take?​

will depend on what is the relative distance b/w the two spacecrafts.and what is the speed of the individual aircrafts in which Peter and Mary are travelling once you have the speed or basically the velocity of each of the spacecraft then say VP is the velocity of Peter and VM is the velocity of Mary at a particular instant of time now velocity of hamburger will be velocity of hamburger absolute - velocity of peter.

now let's say we threw the hamburger in one direction and after some period of time the hamburger is lying in the circle where the the Mary will meet exactly at that point when the hamburger will reach at that point so that time is same and hamburger travels in a straight line so the time taken by hamburger will be se distance l whitch travels divided / velocity which we know that it is velocity of hamburger absolute - philosophy of Peter and the time taken by a married to reach that point will be the distance travelled by Marriott at point divide / the mary velocity soso all these things should be given that which what is the relative distance between Mary and Peter and what is the speed of both if you know this three things then we can find out
