Answer :-

Rs.1450

Explanation :-

Given :

Cost used for the buying an article = Rs.1215

Cost spent on article transportation = Rs.35

To Find :

Selling price if the gain is 16% = ?

Solution :

Total cost price,

= cost used for the buying an article + cost spent on article transportation

= 1215 + 35

= 1250

We know,

\sf{}Profit\%=\dfrac{SP-CP}{CP}\times 100

Put their values and find SP it,

\sf{}:\implies 16=\dfrac{SP-1250}{1250}\times 100

\sf{}:\implies 16\div 100=\dfrac{SP-1250}{1250}

\sf{}:\implies 0.16=SP-1250

\sf{}:\implies 0.16\times 1250=SP-1250

\sf{}:\implies 200=SP-1250

\sf{}:\implies 200+1250=SP

\sf{}\therefore SP=Rs.1450

Therfore,Peter sale the article for Rs.1450 to gain 16%
