Understanding the question:-

We have to find the capacity of a cylinder with diameter 2.1m and length 4m. Diameter of cylinder is equal to 2.1m and length of cylinder can be considered as height of cylinder, 4m.

Given:-

  • Radius of cylinder (r) = d/2 = 2.1/2 = 1.05m
  • Height (h) of cylinder = 4m.

To Find:-

  • Volume(capacity) of cylinder.

Solution :-

⇒ Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7 × 1.05m × 1.05m × 4m

= 22/7 × 1.1025m × 4m

= 24.255/7 × 4m

= 97.02 / 7

= 13.86m³

Therefore, capacity of given cylinder is 13.86m³.

Answer:

hope it helps

Step-by-step explanation:

diameter of petrol tank-2.1 m =1.05m =radius

height=4m

capacity=volume=πr²h=

22/7 *1.05*1.05*4=13.86 m³

ive wrritten it myself,pls respect it TT^TT
