We are consuming natural resources in a very fast rate with this rate we are going to end with all our natural resources like petroleum .
So we must take some steps and must do sustainable use of the natural resources so that we meet our present needs and such that recources will still be left for our future generation
the steps that should be followed to conserve petroleum are :
1) Turn off your car in slow traffic and at traffic signals. It is estimated that we can save about 20% of the fuel by this way.
2) Encourage car pooling. This is a very effective way of saving fuel as well as reducing traffic on the roads.
3) Use public transport facility as much as possible.
4) If possible, use electric-powered cars or bikes .
Oil conservation means their better and more efficient use with regard to economic sense of view, social or environmental costs and benefits, resulting in attainment of higher energy use efficiently, minimization of wasteful practices and wastage and protection of the environment.
