Pets, like humans, require all the care and love that is necessary for nourishment and development of physical and mental health. Sometimes people adopt pets because they seem lovely at times, but adopting pets is a huge responsibility. Therefore, one should think twice before owning a pet. Pets have their own needs, for instance, they need healthy food, medical treatment at the time when they get sick and above all time and love from the owner. Adopting pets is no less than adopting a child and like children, pets also go through mental changes for which different type of attitude and behavior is required. Only those who have patience, tolerance and ability to understand the psyche of animals should own pets and retain their commitment with pets.
