They have to be given food and maintained regularly.

Similar to us, they are susceptible to diseases and should be vaccinated and taken to the vet for regular check-ups.

Their diet should be balanced and regulated.

Their hygiene is very important as they have to be bathed and showered once in a week and their excrement must be cleaned every day.

In other words, having a pet is like having a child under your care.

Unless, one is ready for such commitment, they should avoid having pets.
