-IF pH OF RAIN IS BELOW 5.6 THEN IT IS ACID RAIN.
IN SOIL:
-FOR HEALTHY GROWTH OF PLANTS SOIL SHOULD BE NEITHER ACIDIC NOR ALKALINE.
IN DIGESTIVE SYSTEM:
-TO CURE STOMACH PAIN ANTACIDS ARE TAKEN TO NEUTRALISE THE EXCESS ACID PRESENT IN THE STOMACH

1 in digestion of food HCL is involved which is an acid . due tothe over secreation of HCl we get acidity that I'd neutralized by taking base like baking soda etc..
2 plants and animals also use it for their protection. for example a plant called nettle plant stings that contains methanoic acid . a natural remedy is also present near it. a basic natured plant called dock plant can neutralize it's effect
3 organisms need a very small range of pH for Thier survival for example humans can only love in pH level of blood near 7•4
