Al2O3 has ph more than 7 as it is a metal oxide which is basic in nature.

Sodium acetate from name itself is acedic and so is copper sulphate.they have ph less than 7

sanjeevmsharma: So u c it is acedic
sanjeevmsharma: Also acetate from name itself denotes that it would be acedic in nature...like we say to acetic acid
sanjeevmsharma: No i am sorry...it is a base
My mistake...i got my self confused
sanjeevmsharma: It has a ph of 8.9
sanjeevmsharma: Sorry for confusion
sanjeevmsharma: But al2o3 is also basic
jragul2003: i also made a mistake it was actually AlCl3
sanjeevmsharma: So alcl3 is not a base
sanjeevmsharma: I hope my explaination has helped u
