PH plays a very important role in our daily life.most of the biological reaction taking place in our body are in a narrow pH range of 7.0-7.8 .small change in pH disturbs these process.calculate the pH of 0.001 molar solution of HCL.

Molarity of HCL= 0.001M

We know the formulae that,

NORMALITY = Molarity * n Factor


As per given question = 0.001 X 1 =10^-3


pH= -log{N]


pH= -log[10^-3]


pH= 3 log 10


pH=3 *1


pH of HCL = 3
