pH scale is a scale which is used to measure acidity or basicity of a chemical.
For pH greater than zero but less than 7 it means that chemical is an acid
for pH less than 14 but greater than 7 it means that chemical is a base.
for pH is equals to 7 it means that the chemical is neutral in nature.
these values are valid in standard temperature and pressure conditions.
