OH group linked to an sp2 carbon--triangular geometry. The C-O bond has partial double bond character on account of resonance stabilization--the lone pair of the O can be delocalized over the entire benzene ring. (In general, substitution is relatively rare at sp2 carbons and occur by additional-elimination mechanism--this is the result of the C-O bond being stronger because of delocalization.)
