When two light waves from different coherent sources overlaps together ,then distribution of energy due to one wave is distributed by the other.. This modification energy due to superposition of two waves is called as Interference of light.
Conditions for Interference :
-->Two sources of light should have phase coherence.
---> Two sources of light sghould be very close to each other,
.---> The resultant wave should have zero phase difference.
Interference can be of two types:
1. Constructive .
2. Destructive.
