Phenotypic ratios and genotypic ratios are always depicted as ratios of small whole numbers, 3:1, 1:2:1, 9:3:3:1. What would be the expected phenotypic ratio in the F2 generation of a monohybrid cross using Mendel's experiment design if you produced 10,000 progeny? Why?

since the phenotypic ratio of F2 generation in monohybrid cross is 3:1

3x+x=4x=10,000

=>x=10,000/4=2,500

so there are 7,500 are tall plant and 2,500 are dwarf plant...
