Phosphate pollution is caused by sewage and agricultural fertilizers. Sewage in wast water can be hazardous to the environment. Agricultural fertilizers such as phosphate encourage algae growth which block sun-light and affects the quality of the water. Sewage and agricultural fertilizers produce phosphate is high quality which is very harmful to the different species lives in the water.
