Phosporous is stored in water so that it doesn't get in contact with air . But we know that water has air particles in it . Why does phosporous doesn't react with the air present in the water ??

the particles in the water are in very small amount so they are negligible as they dont react with phosporous .

THE PARTICLES DOESN'T REACT AS THE PARTICLES OF AIR ARE VERY LESS IN AMOUNT IR QUANTITY THEY ARE ABOYT NEGLIGIBLE . SO THIS IS THE REASON
