Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants synthesize their own food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight. The process occurs in the chloroplast present in the green parts of the plant. As chloroplasts have a green pigment called chlorophyll. This pigment captures the sun’s light energy and converts it into chemical energy.
