Photosynthesis is an endothermic process as it utilises some energy to prepare food. With the help of sunlight, water, carbondioxide. It is anabolic process.

Respiration is an exothermic process as it release some energy. So it is catabolic process. It breaksdown compound molecules into simple molecules.
