Resistance of 2 resistors in parallel = 4.5 ohms
Final resistance = 9+4.5 = 13.5 ohms

Combine 2 9 resistors in series…total resistance = 18 ohms
Connect this combination in parallel with third 9 ohm resistor…
Net resistance = 1/(1/9+1/18) = 1/(3/18) = 6 ohms
