Physical environment includes the inanimate things in the environment like the air, water, light, humidity, rocks, soil, etc., whereas the biological environment includes the small and big living things like plants, micro-organisms, animals, and humans.

The air, water, light and other factors of the physical environment are considered as the basic necessities for living things.

 

Light is needed by plants for photosynthesis, water is required for the plants as nutrition to grow, and air helps in transferring the pollen grains for reproduction.

 

Similarly, for animals and humans too, light, air, and water are required for survival.

 

The carbon-dioxide released after respiration in the plants and animals is needed to maintain a balance of the carbon cycle in the physical environment. Similarly, even the water cycle is affected by the biological environment.

 

Therefore, it is very obvious that the physical and biological environments are inter-dependent and reciprocal to each other.

Biological environment involves all the living things  whether it is small or it is large While the physical environment involves the physical things just like rocks .It also includes the air and water etc.
All living things needs water to survive and to ensure their regular normal body functioning . Also sunlight is used by the plants to make their foods that can be eaten by other animals.

And, physical environment is dependent on biological because animal released carbon dioxide which is helpful is completing the carbon dioxide cycle . There are also  other things on basis of which physical environment and biological environment can be said be reciprocal.
